Upchar Setu is at the beginning of its journey. That means the decisions you make here matter, the problems you solve are real, and the impact you create is visible. This is not a role where you are one of thousands. You will be one of a few — and it will show in everything we build.
We are not building an app for entertainment or a platform for transactions. We are building the thing that gets between a family and crisis — that gets a verified nurse to an elderly patient’s home, a physiotherapist to a stroke survivor, a doctor to someone who cannot travel. Every role here is connected to that outcome.

We are starting in Bhavnagar — a city that has been underserved in home care for too long. Our vision is to bring this model to every major city in Gujarat. The people who join now are the ones who will shape how that happens.
We never forget there is a patient and a family at the end of every decision. When we are tired, when timelines slip, when something is hard — we come back to that. The person waiting at home is why we do this.

We do not hide behind process or blame the system. If something under our responsibility went wrong, we say so, we learn, and we make it right. Everyone here — from the founding team down — holds themselves to this standard.
Our patients’ families are not just end-users. They are the reason we exist. And our own team’s families matter too. We build a culture where people can do meaningful work without sacrificing the people they love.
Trust is earned slowly and lost quickly. Every interaction — with a patient, a family, a partner, a colleague — is an opportunity to build it or break it. We choose to build it, every time, even when no one is watching.

Joining Upchar Setu as a care professional is a separate process from our team roles. We verify, credential, and onboard care professionals into our network — so they can provide home-based care to families across Bhavnagar and Gujarat.
WHAT THE PROCESS LOOKS LIKE
We are early. That means some days things are figured out and some days they are not yet. If you need a fully built system and a perfectly defined role, this may not be the right place for you — yet. But if you want to be the person who helps build those systems, who defines those roles, who makes the decisions that shape how things work — this is exactly the right place.
We are small on purpose, for now. Every person here has a real voice. We do not have layers of approval for things that should move fast. We trust our people to make good decisions — and we back them when they do.
We are in Bhavnagar. This is not a Bangalore or a Mumbai startup. We are building something that serves this city and this state — and we are proud of that. The best people to build this are people who understand what it means to grow up in Gujarat, to care for parents in Gujarat, to want Gujarat to have better health infrastructure.
